About Heather

Experience & Recognition

Heather L. Kemper, CFRE, ACNP earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Missouri – Columbia, a Masters in Writing from Lindenwood University -- and is a one-year seminary dropout (a story for another time!) Through the years, she was an Opinion Shaper writer for The Suburban Journals and landed PR coverage in print and broadcast outlets, including New York Times, Times magazine, and MSNBC.

In 2016, after being crowned Mrs. Missouri America, Heather toured across the state speaking to children, teens, and adult groups about inner beauty and community involvement. She is the recipient of the Beyond the Best Award from StreetScape Magazine, ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award, Unsung Hero Award by St. Louis Small Business Monthly and is a graduate from the Class of 2015 - VISION St. Charles County Leadership program.

Family First

The most important and hardest job God presented Heather with is being a mother. Every day is filled with ensuring these four beautiful mini humans feel loved, heard, and are kept accountable.

Of all of her careers, being a mother is one of her greatest accomplishments and also the one that stirs up the most fear -- because for Heather, it is the job with the highest stakes.

As a family, they are silly and giggly -- they love encouraging and cheering each other on, while also competitively beating each other at new board games.

“You want to compose a good world — it’s an honorable and noble profession.”

Finding Peace

Heather finds her peace by exploring the outdoors and can typically be found hiking the rustic trails or kayaking lakes and rivers. Her favorite park to hike, so far, was the Rocky Mountains in 2020 while visiting Estes Park.
